Summary:
This presentation focuses on the relationship between sleep, the environment and dementia. After a brief review of the science the presentation discusses how practical changes to the bedroom environment can help facilitate a better night's sleep for both persons with dementia and their caregivers. The material in the presentation is relevant to persons with dementia living in the community as well as those in long-term-care facilities.
