This infographic, motion piece illustrates the life and work of Cambodian, Aki-ra. His mission: to offset the heinous actions of the fanatical group, the Khmer Rouge. When Aki-ra was just five years old, he witnessed the death of his parents at the hands of Khmer Rouge insurgents. They conscripted him as one of their soldiers and forced him to lay landmines. When Cambodia was eventually liberated, he made a vow to clear the mines from his country. He began with the sacred temples at Angkor Wat and cleared that area almost single-handedly. This serves as a call to action that benefits Amnesty International. The poster can be purchased, with the proceeds going to Aki-ra, helping him to train others in his landmine-disarming methodology.
