Students from Stellenbosch University's Department of Visual Arts in full fabrication mode on a series of public artworks for the Karoo town of Laingsburg, Western Cape. The works will be unveiled on Saturday January 22, as part of a festival to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the 1981 flood that devastated the town. The project was initiated by the Laingsburg Municipality, and is supported by VANSA's 2010 Reasons to Live in a Small Town; Plascon; Stellenbosch University and the people of Laingsburg.
