Nebraska Nexus explores five critical resources—land, water, food, energy and materials—and the effects of the global pressures of population growth and migration, climate change, and consumption have on these resources. How can Nebraskans both develop and conserve these resources to meet global demands and also maintain a quality of life for future generations? What public policy decisions do we need to make, and what will be the socio-cultural effects? How could design become an answer for creating a sustainable future? These questions and more are addressed in Nebraska Nexus: Resources, Conservation, Development, and Change.
