Until recently, adolescent brain development has remained a mystery. This webinar will shed light on how the teenage brain is wired and will explore brain-based strategies to support literacy development in adolescent learners. The course content will reflect current research in the field of brain-based literacy learning including the work of Dr. Thomas Armstrong and Eric Jensen. Participants will learn strategies including visual literacy and metacognition through written, visual, and spoken expression.
