This year SPILL will take place between the 26 - 30 October in Ipswich, Suffolk. SPILL will present 35 National Platform artists across a range of spaces, as part of the larger SPILL programme.
The National Platform is for artists who are at the beginning of their professional practice, including recent graduates, and have only had a few opportunities to show.
The National Platform is aimed at artists and companies who are interested in the experience or the event of art and who work with ideas of liveness. The Platform is open to artists and companies who are centralising or exploring the liveness of the artist and/or the liveness of the audience through performance, sound, film, video, installation, new media / digital practices, activist actions, and new for 2016, projects that radically engage museum collections.
