A SILENT MORNING WALK OUT OF THE TOWN
Strand will guide you along a silent walk, out of the enclosure of the town, tracing the edges of the shoreline bounds, under the bridged borderline into the open rural hinterlands and the pattern under the plough. A ritual ramble of observation, change and memory making.
Strand looks and listens, wanders and wonders. Day is breaking, waders are waking, the tide is turning. We will walk and watch, treading carefully and quietly. Strand is simple and allows us space to breath and belong.
Note: Dress sensibly for the season, the route may be wet and the terrain may be uneven.
Mark lives on the Shotley Peninsula and struggles to trace his gene pool wider than the county bounds. His background is in the graphic arts and he co-runs Ipswich based design agency Firebrand Creative. He has recently collaborated with writer Justin Hopper on I Made Some Low Inquiries, is currently recording with Dom Cooper (Unknown Heretic) and developing new works with long term creative partner Stefan Musgrove. Walking is close to his heart and nature is his best friend.
