Video component of Aurasma augmented reality postcard made by Irene Brown as part of the Meeting Point Project, artists residency at the Thackray Medical Museum, Leeds. Meeting Point was a year-long project led by contemporary art specialists Arts&Heritage. Leading UK and international artists were partnered with nine museums in the North East and Yorkshire to produce new artworks inspired by the museums and their collections. The video features employees, Friends of the Thackray and volunteers at the Thackray dressed in historical costume, reflecting the original use of the building as the Leeds Union Workhouse (Established in 1858).
