Known as the Existential Professor, Dr. Dick Stull is writer, performer, teacher, comedian, philosopher, defier of the gods, corrupter of the youth, and an all- around swell guy. He teaches the physics of human performance and Tai Chi at Humboldt State University in Northern California, as well as being a black belt in Karate.
In his spare time, he combines classic literature, sports history and music into a mix he calls Jazz Noir, a highly improvised and entertaining form of spoken word. His insights on the human psyche are profound and heartening. He has been, and continues to be, a friend and mentor to thousands, but an enemy to none. Just don’t be foolish enough to challenge him to a sparring match!
Life is a journey, and the way is unique for each and every one of us. Join “One for the Road” as we map out the path that is the human experience. Whether it’s a sojourn to the far corners of the globe, a metaphysical search within, or an exploration to the edges of the universe, no traveler is without a tale to tell. Those tales will fill the airwaves as our host, Kevin McManigal, shares over twenty years of globetrotting and interviews vagabonds about their chosen course into the blue. Tune in, settle into the armchair, and have “One for the Road.”
