I am still playing with turning ordinary videos into "animated paintings", trying to get a more attractive and entertaining piece out of older and sometimes less technically perfect video. As in previous pieces, the technique seems to be forgiving with close-ups, which stay sharp much better than ordinary video would, blown up as much. It allows you to pay attention to the action on the screen instead of wondering why the shot isn't in focus. The rather personal interaction between the pair of flying swans is a case in point. An added surprise was the unexpected appearance of lighting effects that were not in the original clips. Watch on the biggest screen you have available.
