The USA Election 2016 was a project with a lot of data driving the graphics. The graphics for the buildup during the day (map, pie, bullets, images etc.) were all made for manual input. The datadriven map and the table of state results was triggered by a VCP template fed by data via Shared Memory. The template had a state selector and a zoom button, various versions of the result subts could be enabled from this one template so that a statezoom could also show the result of the zoomed state both in percent and also the declared winner. The subts were triggered on the Trio engine via the VCP template. All datadriven graphics for live production was triggered from this one combotemplate. For the following day after the election we had made templates for manually input results. All social media elements were triggered by the chrome extension in VizSocialTV. VizWorld was not used for this project.
