Mémoire Universelle is an experimental book project functioning as a subjective encyclopedia,
based on a reflexion around freedom, obsession, timelessness and rarity.
For this third issue, the belgian sound and visual artist Stéphanie Croibien collaborated with the performer Camille Lancelin to enhance in her film the intense literary and imaginary content of Mémoire Universelle's last opus.
Stéphanie Croibien creates a dialogue and confronts her own images to the large corpus of Memoire Universelle's content. Her work experiments with sound textures, visual associations and the materiality of the image, a search that tends to engender a new reality with a singular rhythm and language.
