TREE.0 is an urban installation, currently in progress on Vester Voldgade in Copenhagen. It explores how technology can be used to create new activities and gatherings. The intensity and complexity of the light- & soundscape depends on the number of people activating the pressure sensors.
The tree is able to analyse and detect a scenario based on collected data about the weather and activity near the three. Different moods and scenarios have different parameter settings for sound and light. Throughout the day the ambience of the tree changes. This makes it possible for the tree to gradually change from e.g. a cold morning scenario to a warm afternoon.
