A short documentary about an artist's Residency in rural Italy. Twenty five talented and adventurous artists came to a welcoming town in the Frosinone-Lazio region, located 145km south of Rome, stayed for two weeks and created a wealth of works to be exhibited at a local church. Whilst there the group visited the historic Montecassino Abbey, the contemporary Camusac Gallery and a fantastic local observatory to gaze at the stars. Working around a theme of astronomy and light, the collective's practices included; traditional and alternative photography techniques, printmaking, painting, illustration, video work, motion graphics and live performance. The artists developed the works initiated in Atina for two months after the residency and in November 2016 exhibited them as part of an amazing group show at the dynamic and intriguing Crypt Galley, Euston Road, London.
