I recently went to Standing Rock, North Dakota with my Fuji XT2 where there has been a lot of controversy around the DAPL (Dakota Access Pipeline). My purpose in going to Standing Rock was an independent photography documentary assignment for my own website. I decided to test the Fuji XT2 as one camera to do everything--stills and 4k video. I will be posting the stills that I made later, but this is some of the 4k video that the Fuji XT2 produces and I hope it gives you a sense of what it was like being at Standing Rock and the quality that this camera can create.
All of the video was shot handheld on a non stabilized lens. I have since purchased a stabilized zoom that makes a HUGE improvement in terms of stability but unfortunately I didn't have it at the time I shot this! I will keep updating about the Fuji XT2 and my experiment to see if this one camera can eliminate my other systems entirely!
