The official trailer for the fifth short film by Jesper Isaksen, the director behind the award winning gangster short films NO EXIT & NO EXIT 2 - RISE AGAINST and the stylish horror-feature film VICTIM OF LOVE.
THE VISITOR is a comedy (30 min.) starring long time actress Elsebeth Steentoft (IN A BETTER WORLD, TEDDY BEAR, KLOVN FOREVER etc.) and Moussa Daibes (NO EXIT 2 - RISE AGAINST).
THE VISITOR premiered at Orlando Film festival in 2018 and also received a nomination for “Best Foreign Language Short Film”. In 2019 it got selected as part of the Official Selection at the BAFTA-qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival and also won the "Best Comedy" award at Annual Aarhus Film Festival. It will continue its festival run for the rest of 2019 and by the end of the year hopefully reach participation in EKKO Shortlist 2019 in Copenhagen/Denmark.
PLOT
A robber on the run from the police hides out in the wild nature, when he discovers a lonely house and the old woman living inside. She invites him in for coffee and against all odds they form an unlikely alliance.
