Christos Linou’ career, as performer, choreographer and experimental filmmaker has spanned thirty-years. He has toured one-man shows in Amsterdam, Singapore, Paris and Australia and has appeared and choreographed for TV and feature films. His experimental films and animations have screened in Australia, Taiwan, Singapore, Amsterdam and Toronto. In 2013 he was awarded with a scholarship to undertake a Masters in Fine Arts at Melbourne University, researching durational performance. His research work Naked Peel was performed in Melbourne and Amsterdam and published on IMMATERIAL by the Marina Abramovic Institute. In 2015 he completed his MFA and presented his research at the World Dance Alliance in Singapore. Christos has choreographed and performed for IHOS Opera in a twenty-one year collaboration and he is the co-director of a cross-disciplinary artist run initiative Intertextual Bodies. His community works include, Footscray Community Arts Centre, CERES Community Environment Park, Williamstown Festival and the Greek Antipodes festivals.
