there are only two of us in the house (myself and my hubby), but i cook for an entire week because i don't have enough time to cook every night, and i'm on a clean eating diet (whole foods. nothing processed).
this is some of what's on this weeks menu.
the chicken breast and turkey burgers come in handy during the week because i chop them up in to a salad, or toss them into some fresh spinach and garlic.
i don't eat the sausage. it's too greasy and fattening. my husband tears it up though.
other things i eat are...
tons of veggies
lean meats (not much red meat though)
fish (mostly light white fish)
i can't remember the last time i've eaten fast food or had a soda. the only thing i eat that's really not good for me is a sugar substitute like splenda or equal. i like having it in my tea.
once in a while i'll cheat with peanut butter, but i try really hard to keep that to a minimum.
and sometimes i have no choice but to cheat because we like go out to dinner once in a while, and it's hard to get whole foods while dining out.
but it makes going out to dinner so much more appreciated (for me anyway...my husband doesn't eat like i do).
anyway.. i felt like telling you this. i don't know why.
