The San Diego County Sheriff's Department's Holiday Watch is underway to keep you safe.
Six people are under arrest following a warrant sweep and increased patrols of the Nordahl Marketplace off Highway 78 in San Marcos on Thursday, December 1st.
Deputies assigned to the COPPS (Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving) Unit looked out for suspicious activity in the parking lots of the businesses, as well as surrounding neighborhoods. They also gave safety tips to the public so they don't become a victim of a crime this busy shopping and traveling season.
Those arrested are facing charges ranging from drug possession to possession of drug paraphernalia.
If you see something, say something. Report any suspicious activity by calling the Sheriff's Department at (858) 565-5200.
