This panel features the 5 speakers who took part in the conference "Speaking Truth in Love" hosted by the Presbytery of Hamilton January 30, 2016, as a contribution to the denomination's year of study and reflection on issues of human sexuality. After giving their individual presentations and responses the speakers were invited to dialogue with one another in answer to questions submitted in writing from the conference attendees. The speakers are the Rev. Dr. Clyde Ervine (minister at Knox church St. Catharines (Presbytery of Niagara). Dr. Ervine gave the first paper of the day which highlighted issues which need to be taken seriously by both sides and issued a call to respectful dialogue, setting the tone for the day. Dr. Kevin Livingston then represented the traditional view, the Rev. Hugh Donnelly presented the revisionist view. The Rev. Wes Denyer responded to Dr. Livinston's paper, and the Rev. Karla Wubbenhorst responded to the paper by Rev. Donnelly. Posing the questions is the Rev. Curtis Bablitz of Hamilton, the host Presbytery and one of the event organizers.
