Gostava que o filme fosse mais manual

Gostava que o filme fosse mais manual is an exegetical film. A preview film of a foreseen future that has never happened. Therefore is more a philosophy than a film.
The velocity of the film is rather slow and it is only used a green cloth as background while a drawing is being made. The hushed tone of the voice-word seems as if someone is carefully picking up the words used. The text has been written as it is a brief note film. In some parts of the film there are some technical explanations of the techniques being used and in other parts, there isn’t the need. It is an attempt to synchronise voice and gestures and concurrently transform a coherent thought into a film.
However, it is its poetical approach that enhances the film’s autonomy. Some poetic expressions such as “ the work of silence from the image” which is referring to the technique “Direct-Writing” used in the film which erases the intellectualization of drawing. Yet it presents new ways of making films without the restrains of the film industry and even of contemporary video making regarding the movie making process.
