From 1884 until 1967 Tiburon was a bustling railroad town which provided passenger and freight service between San Francisco and Northern California. This video shows the Tiburon Railroad & Ferry Museum located in Shoreline Park, Tiburon in the last surviving building of the railroad. This is one of the most visited museums in Marin and includes a model of the railroad in1909. Under construction for nearly 20 years the model is in HO (1:87) scale and a perfect replica of Tiburon Point as it was over 100 years ago. The video was shot primarily on GoPro cameras which were fitted onto the model trains and buildings and allow the viewer to experience what the railroad was like in 1909 and the incredible attention to detail that has gone into the model.
