Shadow and music in the Buduburam Liberian refugee camp of Ghana

This video introduces Samuel Morgan, aka Shadow, a musician, singer, composer, producer, and audio engineer who also happens to be a Liberian refugee living and working in the Buduburam Liberian refugee camp near Accra, Ghana. Shadow explains what it's like to produce music in a refugee camp, presents some of his work, and also introduces a new project, in collaboration with Michael Frishkopf - "Refugee Music Television".

All video footage was shot in Buduburam by Shadow and his team. Some editing took place in Buduburam. Footage was sent to Michael Frishkopf, professor of music at the University of Alberta in Canada, who edited the film you are watching here on vimeo.
