In Romania there are registered over 3,000 visually impaired children and only 1,000 of them are educated in special schools.
In this video you will find out about Alex Florin Bologa story, a blind judoka which this year has managed to win the bronze medal at the Paralympic Games in Rio.
Alex went blind from the age of six, after which he attended the "Special High School for the Visually Impaired Cluj-Napoca" and now attends classes at two faculties: the Special Education and the Physical Therapy.
He began practicing judo at the age of 16, when he gave up swimming, and now he is training with the Female Judo Team in Cluj-Napoca.
After several participations in numerous national, european and world competitions, Alex has won the bronze medal at the Paralympics in Rio.
Lots of love goes to the team that made this happen :)
