'Victim' was shot on the Arri SR3 aswell as a Bolex RX5.
In the film she has different experiances that are represented by different looks. She thinks back to her childhood, she wonders what her family is doing and she feels the trauma of the present.
Her childhood is represented by warmth and colour. Day exteriors were shot on Fuji 64D with an 85 and a Colour Enhancer to add warmth and colour saturation. We also used mirrors to flare light into the camera. Interiors were shot with Fuji Reala 500D and warmed with Tungsten light.
The camera shot high speed to slow the pictures down.
She wonders what her family is up to is represented by a cool blue look with desuturated colour. To achieve this I shot with Fuji 400T and lit scenes with Daylight. The camera was overcranked to slow the pictures down.
Her reality is jagged and kinetic. To show this I shot with kodak 7240 125T corrected to daylight. I also cut out the shutter in my Bolex RX5 and shot hand held. This created streaks of light that expose on an ever moving frame.
