Set your wayback machines to the dawn of 3D computer animation. It was the sub-GHz, sub-GB era when the floppy disks reigned supreme and VHS was the standard.
Most of these projects were created using Impulse's Imagine3D software on Commodore Amiga computers. Electronic Arts' DeluxePaint was the primary 2D paint application and Blackbelt Systems' ImageMasterRT was the image processor.
Selected projects were transferred from old dusty VHS tapes found buried in the basement archives. Additional projects may be uploaded in the future. Others are lost to time forever.
The "Apocalypse Later" animation included in this collection won 2nd place in the animation category at the 1994 Penn State Student Film Festival.
Robotech/Macross fans, look for the SDF1 in the "Apocalypse Later" project, and other anime/sci-fi influences. You'll also see guest appearances of Alpha Fighters elsewhere and even some Transformers.
At the end of this video collection is a rare find, a bonus behind-the-scenes look at the old Willard Building Amiga Lab at Penn State.
