Music and games play a large role in teaching the basics of Yiddish at the Midtown Shule, a program associated with The Workman's Circle. The ultimate goal of the school is not to create fluent Yiddish speakers. Instead, the children learn the language as an integral part of their European Jewish Immigrant cultural and social heritage.
