LECTURE: “LET’S SEE(…)”
Vincent Snyder established his own architectural practice in Austin in 1995. Prior to this, he worked for several years as a senior design architect with Frank O. Gehry & Associates, Inc. and also has project experience in the offices of Michael Graves, Architect, and Kallmann, McKinnell and Wood, Architects, Inc. His current professional work ranges in scale from the residential to the institutional and has been recognized and awarded nationally. Included in these honors and awards is a C2C Home Award (with Douglas Oliver) 2005, a Progressive Architecture Award from Architecture magazine in 2003, an Award in 2002 and a Citation in 2001 from the Boston Society of Architects Unbuilt Design Awards program. Most recently his UR22 Residence was recognized as an AIA Dallas Home Tour selection in 2008. Vincent Snyder is a registered architect in Texas, California and Nebraska.
An associate professor of architecture, Vincent Snyder holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and a graduate degree from Princeton University. He was recognized with a national Faculty Design Award 2002 from the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture, and an Outstanding Teacher Award (Studio) 1999 at the University of Texas at Austin and has served as a Fellow of the Harwell Hamilton Harris Regents Professorship in Architecture.
