In "Barson St.," Allen explores two parallel realities in every day life. The story unfolds with lyrical images of a woman prostitute doing her daily routines, and a musician playing his guitar on his porch, witnessing street life. One day she disappears and the musician realizes how people we see on the streets become part of our lives. Allen's audio design was particularly effective adding to the editing to create the tension experienced by the protagonist.
