This was my 2nd major Video production for a business. I shot almost 4 hours of footage during a 10 hour day and we will get around 6-8 videos out of it.
The videos consisted of Student Interviews, Staff Interviews, Parent Interviews, A Commencement and just overall videos of the kids going throughout their day there.
This video interview was absolutely fantastic. She really touched my heart with her comments. I have almost 30 minutes of footage from this one interview so getting it down under 5 minutes was a challenge as so much of what she said was just great.
I shot all the footage and had a separate editor do all the video editing.
The footage was shot with a Canon EOS 60D with a stock 18-135mm lens. The camera was mounted on a Velbon Video Tripod and I used an Audio Technica AT897 Shotgun Mic and Audio Technica Uni-Directional (Cardioid) Lapel Microphone hooked up to my PC to record all the audio.
Things I learned:
1. I need to get a follow Focus.
2. I need to get a set aperture lens so it doesn't get dark when zooming in.
3. Get even more angles of the same shot.
I appreciate your comments, thoughts, and or any suggestions you have for me.
