Bordering India and Myanmar, Bangladesh is the most densely populated country in the world. It is also one of the least visited by tourists in Asia, mostly due to poor coverage in the international media and lack of knowledge. What I found on my second trip to Bangladesh was a country bustling like no other but full of contrasts. Amidst the chaos, I also found peace - both in the way things seemed to work despite some of the worst traffic and crowds in Dhaka and Chittagong, to the beautiful rural areas of Srimangal, the Sundarbuns and Bandarban with beautiful scenery, wildlife and ethnic diversity.
