We recently purchased an Ursa Mini 4.6K and we wanted to test it out on the Ronin. For those of you who don't know what the heck those things are, we recently bought a new camera and wanted to test it out on the thing-a-ma-jig that makes the camera movement smooth.
John Andrew, our good friend, wanted some fun stuff for his reel. He's a goof ball, and I mean that in the most loving way, he's lots of fun, but he can look cool and stealth if he wants to, being an actor and all.
Drew Dutton, another friend and probably the best Ronin operator I've met, he knows how to tweak the thing out and make it a real tool for film making.
I had fun with the VFX and SFX. Again for those of you who don't know what that means, I made things that really weren't there look like they were, like the burning car and I added the bang-bang sounds.
It was really rather spur of the moment but It came out great.
