On Thursday, January 19, Mike O’Dowd, Project Director for I-90 Interstate Improvements presented proposed work to the Cambridge community at the Central Square Library. Reconstruction of I-90 is scheduled to begin by 2019 and will continue for 4 or 5 years, dramatically impacting neighborhoods on both sides of the river both during construction and afterwards. O’Dowd addressed the following neighborhood concerns: traffic patterns, noise abatement, and easy access for Cambridge residents on and off the Pike.
The presentation was filmed by Sara Pagiaro.
