This is a song about longing for the sun to come back to us once again and bring back some light. In the north of Norway, north of the Polar Circle, we have these Polar Nights. During the Polar Night, which lasts from November to January, the sun doesn’t rise at all. Then the days get progressively longer until the Midnight Sun period, from May to July, when it never sets. After the midnight sun, the days get shorter and shorter again until the Polar Night, and the yearly cycle repeats.
The lyrics says: "We`re waiting for the Sun that will come back to us in January. Then we will celebrate that we can finally see things clear. We feel the darkness of the Polar Night pull us down, but the sun will come back with it`s clarity ".
