A documentary film by Ernesto Yélamos Quesada.
In cities all over the world, speed, technology, and self-gratification drown the eating rituals that have evolved over time and are quickly challenging the social and spatial role of the dining table, represented throughout history in a variety of art mediums as the space of conviviality. In Europe, Berlin is among the leaders in single person households, and has been chosen to test how the dining table can be reintroduced as a public space of conviviality.
