"Kupuna" refers to the growing elderly population in Hawaii. The Kupuna Life package was designed for a local station in Hawaii geared towards focusing on issues facing Hawaii’s seniors and their families and caregivers. In order to connect ancient Hawaiian traditions with clean modern design, I used the iconic Taro leaf as the base design and handmade Hawaiian mats to bring in warmth, bringing everything full circle.
