Kath Bartlett, MS, LAc uses the Balance Method of acupuncture to dramatically reduce pain during the first acupuncture treatment. Her success rate is demonstrated on 5 diverse patients: neck pain, chest pain, low back & hip pain, sprained ankle, headache, leg pain.
The Balance Method of acupuncture was developed by Dr. Richard Tan of San Diego, CA. Elegantly working with the sophisticated relationships among the acupuncture meridians, Balance Method practitioners do not needle the local area of pain. Rather distal locations away from the site of pain are used: wrists treat ankles, hips and neck, elbows treat knees. Astoundingly, pain is immediately relieved upon needle insertion. Fewer needles are used than other styles of acupuncture commonly practiced. Balance Method is highly effective for all kinds of internal conditions as well.
Kath Bartlett, Licensed Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Herbalist has been practicing since 2001, giving thousands of acupuncture treatments with a high clinical success rate. Utilizing Balance Method of acupuncture, she dramatically reduces pain during the first treatment. She began studying the Balance Method in 2007. By 2008 she began using it exclusively in her practice due to the immediate results it offers and its effective treatment protocols. Bartlett received her MSTOM from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, San Diego. Clinical experience included externships with UCSD Medical School in integrative hospital and clinic settings for HIV+/AIDS, seniors and homeless patients. She is Board Certified in Oriental Medicine by NCCAOM.
