Guatemala

In August 2016 I had the opportunity to go to Guatemala, the place where my mother and her family are from, for the second time. It was a chance to experience and learn about a part of myself that I don't normally see, and I got to do it with several of my family members. It was a trip I will never forget, because despite running into three protests, driving in unknown areas, and doing things we never would have expected, it opened my eyes to a new part of the world and my own life. This video is my story of this beautiful trip.
