Avaya has a heritage tracing back to AT&T and Bell labs, spinning off from Lucent in 2000. Through a series of multiple acquisitions that include Nortel Enterprise voice and data business, Avaya has a broad global technology footprint that includes cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments. Abie John, Director of Global IT Security at Avaya will illustrate how incorporating Qualys Vulnerability Management, Policy Compliance and Web Application Scanning into the fabric of those environments has allowed Avaya to automate and streamline security and compliance supporting business functions such as R&D, solutions, services, and operations.
