Emily Hornum is an interdisciplinary artist working across photography, mixed media, new media and installation art to investigate notions surrounding the family archive, new media and memory. Hornum graduated with a Master of Arts by Research with Edith Cowan University in 2016 and a Bachelor of Photography with Queensland College of Art in 2009.
Hornum has exhibited her work in solo and group shows nationally and internationally including Queensland Centre for Photography, as part of Fringe World Festival 2015, shortlisted for Fremantle Arts Centre 2016 Print Award and as part of 'Third Space' with USST and ECU in Shanghai. In 2016, Hornum was an Artist in Resident at Fremantle Arts Centre, received The City of Perth Roe Street Light Locker Art Space public art commission and her work 'The Life of Holger' (2015) was acquired by The City of Armadale Collections exhibited in the Invitational Minnawarra Art Award.
