During my trips to Korea I discovered the vast range of sights, smells and colors in its capital, Seoul. From the everyday hustle and bustle of Noryangjin fish market, I experienced the contrasting performances of K-pop at K Live versus the traditional fan dances at Korea House. I took in the country’s long history, so well preserved in Gyeongbok Palace and Bokchom Hanok Village, but also in the food, and faces of this fast-growing modern city.
