The title “MidVay” is a corrupted version of the word “midway”. The piece disrupts the space-time continuum using absurd text conversations unrelated to the space they take place in, and objects.
“MidVay” is full of seeming clues to what’s happening, and promises towards progression of the narrative, that remain unfulfilled.
The main action of the piece, writing on the phone, was inspired by a real “happening” in a noisy bar, where we could not hear each other but instead of texting to each other we were using one phone to communicate.
