The speakers were Julian Gross, a lawyer who has negotiated dozens of community benefits agreements in California, and Jean Swanson, co-authour of the Carnegie Community Action Project's Community Vision for Change. Michael McCarthy- Flynn moderated.
The event was sponsored by the Vancouver Urban Core Workers’ Association and the Downtown Eastside Neighbourhood Council.
