See how the ARC Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions, Europe 1100-1800 (CHE), brought the emotions behind WA’s Dutch East India Company (VOC) history into the mix at the Zest Festival in Kalbarri. The Zest Festival ran between 2012 and 2016 and commemorated the 300th anniversary of the sinking of the VOC ship, the Zuytdorp, on the cliffs north of Kalbarri. Each year the festival focused on a culture along the VOC's route.
