One in twenty-six women die of pregnancy complications in Zambia. There is clearly a need for improvement to protect some of the most vulnerable. The World Health Organization mandated that women’s health should be a priority. Nowhere is the struggle more visible than in the low cost labor ward, B12, at the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia.
This film offers a hyper-realistic behind-the-scenes view of the low cost labor ward, B12, at the University Teaching Hospital.
