Arkansas' Parker Homestead is a recreated 19th century townthat is 6 miles south of Harrisburg. It's a collection of buildings and artifacts that brings history to life each fall season, owned and operated
by four generations of Parkers. Begun in 1994, it has evolved from an interestin local history and preserving it for others. Activities include school field trips, church gatherings, and weddings, and the highlight of each year is the festivalin October that celebrates the end of sorghum harvest season.
