I had visited Taormina several times before I started doing timelapse photography. I always wanted to make a timelapse video of this spectacular place. The Mt Etna volcano, Greek Theatre, views of the coast and the streets of Taormina are very photogenic. In October 2016 l got he chance to stay there for 4 nights as part of our Sicily tour. We stay in a lovely B&B, which had a balcony that overlooked Taormina and Mt Etna. I made several sequences from the balcony as well as the streets, views and of course the Greek theatre. A the "Teatro Greco" I was not allowed to use a tripod however, I just set my camera on the stone step, which worked very well and complied with rules.
Processing the sequences as usual took quite a while. Selection of the music was also a big challenge but eventually I found a piece of interesting muisic from "NeoTunesLab" that just fit the video length.
