As part of a Coles Credit Cards $100 Off Masterclass campaign Whippet suggested a useful component to add to our activity could be the Facebook Canvas.
Canvas enables businesses to tell stories and showcase their products using a combination of video, still images, copy and call to action buttons, breaking away from the restrictions of photo link posts. The user is able to swipe through a carousel of imagery and zoom in to view images in more detail. This is a mobile first ad and only works on the Facebook mobile app.
Due to the capability of being able to deliver more complex messaging, our Facebook Canvas ad enabled us to talk about not only the offer of $100 Off a single Coles Supermarket Shop, but also talk about their credit card security protection - the Coles Shield.
The addition of Facebook Canvas has given Coles Credit Cards the ability to reach further and wider with a fantastic campaign and hopefully give them a significant boost in credit card applications.
