It's the story of a man who refused to accept his past and, tragically, his identity.. Terence is not ashamed of being a rocker, nor being homeless, neither being addicted to alcohol where all his money from his "Underground Bombay Tour" goes. We all have our heritage, our past, but, incapable of forgiving and letting it go, Terence is destroyed by it and seeks, in the tourists passing by, somebody to listen to his story and release him for the pain of being left aside, alone and without love. A few weeks after I met him he got hit by a truck while being drunk. He is now dead and this is his testament.
(Living in Paris Grégoire is not afraid of working throughout the world would it be India or Romania. He tries to work in the shadow area between documentary and fiction, where, for him, lies the bigger truth and deeper feelings. To him film-making is about bringing to our attention the small things that make life worthy of being lived.)
