Spot the Dot and the Dutch Melanoma Foundation presented in February of 2017 a worldwide skin cancer awareness campaign called 'Rebel Against Skincancer'. As a kick-off they organised a full DIY winterfestival in the very north of The Netherlands at the brand new Rebel Rebel hostel in Groningen on February 11, 2017.
Why we rebel?
Skin cancer is in the top 3 of most common cancer types amongst young people and most of them are not aware of that! Research showed that people in the younger age categories check their skin least of all, while early detection can be crucial. Rebel with us to start a conversation about prevention and detection of melanoma and other types of skincancer. Fight the ignorance.
Follow Spot The Dot and join the rebellion, they will continue with this campaign, stay tuned!
